St. Tarcissus Catholic School exists to teach and foster the Gospel message of Jesus. We provide opportunities for the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social development of each child. Our school is called to serve students, their families and the entire St. Tarcissus parish community.

Dear School Families,


Here are some of the highlights from next year’s school calendar pending final approval by the OCS Office for 2010 – 2011 just in case anyone is doing some early planning. You will be made aware of any necessary changes.



Staff Development, Teacher Orientation, and Religious Inservice will take place the week of August 16 – 20.

  • August 23rd  1st Day of school. (1/2 day)

  • August 25th will be Open House/Back to School Night for grades 1 - 8 at 7 p.m.

  • We are going to have classes through Tuesday, Dec. 21st.  Christmas Break will be from Wednesday, Dec. 22nd – Tuesday, January 4th. Classes resume on Wednesday Jan. 5th.

  • Easter Break will begin on Holy Thursday April 21st and we will return on Monday, May 2nd.

  • If we do not use any emergency days/snow days the last day of school will be Tuesday, June 7th (1/2 day). If we do have to use days then school can be extended up to as late as June 15th.

  • Graduation is set for Friday, June 3rd regardless of emergency days.
